Ellen Francisco

I'm a classical musician (violin and viola), passionate about chamber music. I'm also passionate about sharing the love of music with students (I run two summer chamber music programs.) My husband is also a classical musician (a fine choral/orchestral conductor and a clarinetist). And the love of both of our lives is our son, a passionate young musician, 7 years old, whom we home-school.

And so, the sum of these parts (chamber music, teaching, home-schooling, our Christian dedication, and a love of people), is a lot of prayerful consideration on how we should be raising our son. This includes homeschool curriculum, schedule, activities, but mostly, for purposes of this blog, practice and musical issues.
